About this policy
Brainforge Games operates Sikhi Khoj. This policy describes the app’s current data practices. For support or privacy requests, email contact@brainforgegames.com.
Anonymous accounts
Sikhi Khoj automatically signs you in with an anonymous Firebase account and generates a user ID. The app currently has no email/password login or visible Apple or Google sign-in. An anonymous account still allows app activity and records to be associated with the generated ID.
Information stored
We store the generated user ID; an optional display name and selected country; learning progress; quiz history; practice bests; streaks; tournament participation; scores; ratings; leaderboard information; and feedback you submit. Progress, preferences and downloaded content are also saved locally on your device.
How information is used
This information supports your learning experience, saved progress, quizzes and practice, streaks, tournaments, ratings and leaderboards, and handling feedback. App-usage information helps us understand usage and learning interactions. Crash reports and diagnostics help us investigate failures and improve reliability.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions to provide authentication, store app records and run backend functions. Google Analytics for Firebase records app usage and learning interactions. Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports and diagnostics. Advertising
Sikhi Khoj currently contains no ads and uses no advertising SDKs.
Shared results
The app includes tournaments and leaderboards. Other players can see your display name or generated learner name, points, rank, realm/league and promotion/demotion indicators. Learning progress, quiz history and feedback are not displayed in the public interface. Current release limitation: signed-in users can read shared tournament-result documents that contain internal user IDs and additional entry details. Access restrictions are pending release cleanup; these details should not yet be treated as private. Avoid including sensitive information in your display name or feedback.
Storage and retention
App records are held in Firebase services, and progress, preferences and downloaded content are also stored locally. Ordinary account, progress, feedback and competition records have no automatic expiry and remain until deletion is requested. No inactivity-based retention period has been implemented. The 30-day period below applies only to acknowledged deletion receipts. The deletion process is designed to remove the anonymous account, associated app records and local saves, and remove identifying rows from shared results. A minimal deletion receipt supports recovery of interrupted requests and is removed 30 days after the app confirms cleanup. Historical analytics and diagnostic records remain subject to provider retention policies.
Deletion and privacy requests
The Settings → Delete my data feature has been implemented but is awaiting backend deployment and device verification. It is not yet confirmed operational. Do not send passwords, verification codes or sensitive information.

We will update this page when the app’s data practices change.
Audience and children
The current product brief suggests approximately ages 12 and above, including children. This is provisional product guidance, not a finalized age policy. An age policy and any required child-specific privacy, consent and analytics controls must be confirmed before release.
